Answer: Our Teaser Infrared Image this week is of a hive of nature’s most industrious creatures… bees! This particular variety is known as a “ground-nesting bee”. A local black bear came along in the night and must have smelled the honeycomb, as we found this hive very agitated–with chewed honeycomb scattered nearby.

That is really cool! Never thought to take my Fluke into the woods to see what was brewing out there! Will have to try it.
