Could be an Inspection or Cleanout cover, the object in the center of the circuler cover plate could be a sight glass for observations. The cover appears to be bolted on,indicating it could be removed.There seems to be a handle attached to the cover plate above what might be a sight glass which also suggests that this maybe removable. This might be on some type of process furnance…or not. Just a guess.
This could be a thermal image of a inspection cover on a boiler, with
some of the insulation in place. However this is why I am inquiring about the thermography book, I really don’t know what this image is.
If I didn’t already know you work in a cubicle, I’d say it was the doorknob to your office!
