Motor or gearbox on a crane?
I’m guessing a draw bridge tower with what appears to be the lift mechanism.Appears to be some source of heat from the right side of the frame that is being reflected on the towers right side.The dark red on the right end of the lifting gear appears to be the drive motor, the lines of same color may be the power supply to the device and there seems to be some over heating going on.The system may be electric or hydraulic.Could also be a Crane gantry or even on an oil well rig (hopefully not a BP rig!)
